Doug hoeschler is a people photographer.

Well, For the most part.

Based in Portland, Oregon, Doug has been shooting professionally since 1994, back when the crazy kids were still calling  it 'film'.

He started out as strictly a portrait photographer back then, but over the years he’s branched out to regularly shooting fashion, lifestyle, product, editorial, advertising and fine art. His clients are as diverse as his work.

Some of his regular clients are footwear and apparel manufacturers, advertising and design firms, builders and architects, retail and grocery stores, local apparel designers, and musical groups.

Some of his commercial clients include: adidas, reebok, ivy park, card b for reebok, pharrell (humanrace) for adidas, danner boots, lacrosse boots, forsake shoes, bogs, icu eyewear, nike, fred meyer, walmart canada, ace hardware, hanna andersson, pendleton, and kroger, just to name a few.

Though digital photography has become the standard medium in his world, he still enjoys shooting with his film and sx-70 polaroid cameras when he can just mess around on his own time.
